Ten Things You Should Start Doing.

Hello,

Of course, if you are not doing them already.
  1. Stop thinking negative thoughts about yourself or others.
  2. Don't dwell on the past. Turn it into art.
  3. Enjoy little things in life.
  4. Do not judge or compare yourself to others.
  5. Do not put things off.
  6. Listen to peaceful music.
  7. Live in a tidy space.
  8. Wear clothes that make you happy.
  9. Go to bed earlier.
  10. Remember that all the efforts you are making now will pay off in the end.
Some of these things are not easily done for sure but worth giving a try. And my dress is under $25 right now.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Hello,

Been going through a lot lately but I have more to be thankful for than focusing on what's wrong.
I am doing my preceptorship, moved to a new place, dealing with a cold, and job hunting. It doesn't sound like a lot but boy, all I know is deadlines.
I am looking forward to a more chilled Winter!

How about you guys? What are you thankful for?

Fun Suit.

Hello,

There are power suits and there are fun suits. Fun suits are those you would not wear to a job interview. Like this one I am wearing. Suits are very easy to wear but tricky when it comes to picking the right size of the blazer.

  • Unless you are going for an oversized fit, the seam of the shoulders of the blazer has to hit where your shoulders end.
  • Choose a blazer that buttons easily over the section of the torso. A fitted blazer follows the natural curves of your body shape without pulling, bunching or wrinkling.
  • The sleeves of the blazer should not be a big issue. If there are too long, cuff them up in a fun way. If there are too short, layer them with a long sleeve shirt or t-shirt.
Suits can be dressed up paired with a blouse and heels or dressed down with a t-shirt and sneakers.
