It's the little things.

Hello,

I always paint my nails red. Black or white once in a while. A preference or just a habit. So the other day I painted my nails a turquoise color. So pretty and got a lot of compliments. That's something that's definitely out of my comfort zone. Which made me reflect on how I live life. I always go for the safe choices. None wrong with that. Lately, I am surprising myself with some bold decisions...
Before we know it, I will be skydiving. Just thinking out loud.

Hostess with the Mostest.

Hello,

There is nothing casual about jumpsuits because they are always dressy. One must invest in a good jumpsuit! According to fashion experts, there are more than 15 different types of jumpsuits! Go figure! The blazer jumpsuit which is the holy grail of jumpsuits, the boiler jumpsuit which is the one with tapered legs and side pockets, the cape jumpsuit of cause, culotte jumpsuit, to name a few. This one I am wearing here is the skinny jumpsuit. The flirty off-shoulder detail is super sexy which makes this jumpsuit a going-out choice outfit.
What do you think of this look?

Minty.

Hello,

Can non-writer people experience writer's block? Because I am experiencing a major writer's block right now. Not just only here on the blog but also in school. Yeah, I am back in school and struggling to turn in my school projects. I am so not motivated and don't know how to reboot myself and my writing. Any advice/ tips/ tricks on how to get these fingers back on the keyboard?

Get to Know me!

Hello,

What I am reading now:
I am currently reading Stop Being Lonely by Kira Asatryan. I picked up this little book from the public library and I' ve learned so much from it. I am not a lonely person, I am an introvert who enjoys her own company but struggles to make new friendships. Highly recommended if you are like me.

Must-have makeup for the moment:
I am no makeup guru but I like to say that I know a thing or two when it comes to foundation. I have used a lot of brands even the luxury ones, thanks to Tj Maxx. For the last maybe six months, I have been using this brand called Black Radiance liquid foundation. Their foundations are oil-free which works for my oily skin and they got the shades right for us dark-skinned girls. Give it a try.

Favorite scent for now: OMG I am so obsessed with Idole by Lancome. I get a million compliments when I have it on. The scent is cold, fresh, and floral. Any other recommendations? What's your favorite perfume?

Closet fave item: These Dark Camel boots from Charles by Charles David are my fave item in my closet right now. They go with pretty much anything in my closet.

Skincare I can't go without: This Foam Sonic Facial Soap by Clinique is all you need for your face to feel smooth and moisturized. A bonus, this soap doesn't leave your skin dry AT ALL.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know a few things about me.

Skirt Set.

Hello,

This set is from Tj Maxx, purchased months ago and got to wear it before the weather got cold. Like you have noticed, I always wear something modest on Sundays, and this look is one of them.
I could have gone a size down on both top and skirt but you know how online shopping is and I am not one to send back anything, ever!
This top would go well with a blue pair of jeans, a leather jacket and a pair of pumps! There you have it for your date night inspo.
