Christmas'19.

Hello,

This plaid look was perfect for a Christmas dinner. Before you ask, I didn't wear it to church!
I bought this dress during Black Friday sales and Christmas day happened not to be too cold, so the dress came to my rescue. The coat was given to me by a coworker who told me, to quote her, I have a fancy coat that would look good on you! So what do you think?

With a Joyful Heart.

Hello,

I feel like this look would have been a success if I had paired it with a shoe with inches. And a purse maybe to elevate the look. Of Course, a girl can't always be in heels; sometimes casual looks are a win when runnings errands. These photos were taken a day after my graduation, you can still see all the joy and relief from that day. Let me tell you, Nursing school is hard! Not because the courses are hard but because of the stress. There are more "Don'ts" than "Dos" during the program. Your instructor is your god! Don't want to get into details but I am glad I am OUT!

And as you can see, I am still catching up on old posts!

Dancing in the Rain.

Hello,

Before I mention anything else, you gotta give it to me for standing in the rain for pictures! This Winter, I have gotten a couple of sick days from standing outside for pictures. Anything for the gram/blog!

Now back to this outfit, I have worn this skirt before Here and I am planning to wear it again and again. I can pair this skirt with anything in my closet. So looking forward to wearing it with knee boots and a cropped jacket. What do you think?

Power Pleats.

Hello,

Dropping by to share with you this gorgeous dress before it sales out. This number is from Boohoo and among my favorite dresses. I mean, from the color to the sleeve details and these power pleats! A must-have. Still working out on how to give hugs in this dress if you can tell from how the sleeves are attached to the waist. Totally recommended.

Day Dreamer.

Hello,

While editing these pictures, it occurred to me that I actually like oversized clothes. I always buy a size up my normal size. When I am shopping I never try on clothes before buying them, I look at an item and I know it would fit. I don't get it right all the time, but mostly I buy the right fit. I wear any size from medium to extra large. I am all about the comfort that comes with oversized clothes and the room they leave for that food baby.
Talking about oversized things, I bought this coat in a thrift store last Winter and completely forgot about it until I was moving and find it where I had stashed it in my storage. I have a couple of coats that I have purchased from thrift stores for just a bargain. The secret about thrift store or second-hand shopping is that you get the clothes dry-cleaned before wearing them. I also recommend wearing long sleeves and leggings underneath before trying them on. Now go on and enjoy some thrift store shopping!
