Suit Up.

Hello,

A woman in a suit means business! Well, not so much for this occasion as I wore this look to church. But that's business with God right! This suit is my second Elie Tahari suit, and oh boy I am glad I bought it! I paired the suit with a floral top from Peter Pilotto for Target to give more vibrant colors to the look. In this post, I will share with you few tips on how to nail a suit better than the boys.
1. Find a suit that complements your type of body.
2. Layering. A neat shirt or a t-shirt.
3. Fitted shoulders. The rest can be oversize but go as slim as possible on the shoulders.
5. DO NOT roll the sleeves. Push them up.

Hope this is helpful.

Two-piece Set.

Hello,

I have had this set for almost a year , I wore it this past Summer and never got a chance to post about it. This is a very African attire made in Rwanda by one of my mom's friend. I wore it to church and got a lot of compliments. I am guessing because of the very loud prints maybe! The pants are oversized and to be honest, not my favorite. I am looking forward to pairing the top with a pair of blue jeans and nice pump for another look.
What do you think of this look? Leave your comments below :)

Old Files.

Hello,

Four days ago, I celebrated my birthday. I have been meaning to write a post about it but I failed to do so.Blame it on overtime hours at work.I managed to take pictures on that day, so I will share a birthday post with you pretty soon.
In the meantime, enjoy these old pictures!

Dazzling lace.

Hello,

The first time I saw this dress on Asos, it was love at first sight. I was searching for a dress for a wedding I was crashing, yes crashing, in Atlanta this past Summer. I had worn a blue lace dress(Here) to another wedding(this time around,I was invited,ok!) that I attended this Summer,so I wanted a similar look for that wedding as well. Not only I felt in love with the dazzling lace, the color was the clincher. The fit is so perfect and flattering, totally my style.
Let me know what you think of the dress.

This Goes Too.

Hello,

This look is one that can certainly be found in a Chico's store. The blouse and the wide leg pants are a more mature fit and definitely not my everyday cup of tea.
I wore this look to my best friend's babyshower a month ago.To think that she already had her bundle of joy almost two weeks ago goes to show that I am slacking at posting. The background of the pictures is out of focus yet I am sharing the pictures.Inshallah, one day I will wake up and be a decent blogger. In the meantime, enjoy the pictures.

I Love me Some Flares.

Hello,

Happy Friday!
Bear with me as I am still sharing my Summer looks. I wore this look to a lunch gathering weeks ago. I so love the top and these flare jeans have been worn multiple times this past Summer and I have no plan to put them to rest.
