Striped.

Hello,

My mom worked as an office manager/secretary so she always dressed up for work in nice blazers and blouses. Growing up, I looked up to her and her sense of fashion which made me want to work in an office where I would dress up every day. My love for fashion conflicted with my love for medicine. I wanted to dress in suits yet wear the white coat at work. Needless to say that I waved goodbye to dressing up for work since I wear scrubs to work. So any chance I get, I dress up!

Fall Fashion.

Hello,

Fall is definitely my favorite fashion season. During the Summer months, I always end up wearing a one-piece outfit or just some kind of top and pants. Now, I get a chance to enhance my style by adding on a blazer or a coat on for a more fun look. I like how a blazer can elevate any look and make you so polished. I can say that this outfit is definitely one of my favorites.

Mood Boards.

Hello,

Are mood boards or visual boards still a thing? When I started blogging back in 2011, mood boards were the "It Girls" thing, to name a few: Karla's closet, Aimee of Style, Nadia Aboulhosn, and so many more. Up to this date, I still enjoy making them. In one way, there are very relaxing for me and a way of reading magazines. On the other hand, they make dressing quite easier.
When I create mood boards, I like to go old fashion and cut ideas from magazines. I create them not according to seasons or trends, I just go by random ideas and what I am into at the moment. If I like it, I cut it and post it. I don't just pick one theme, I mix colors palettes, patterns, prints, and sometimes add on textures. I try to think outside the box with my boards.

Shopping With a Purpose.

Hello,

I love shopping until I have a thing to go to and then I don't have anything new to wear. I don't like random shopping because when I have somewhere specific to go, I don't have anything new to wear.
I am talking about when you have a party or a special event to go to, then you realize that you don't have an outfit for that specific event. That's what happens to me all the time. I buy unnecessary things I don't need until I need to actually shop for clothes I need.
I bought this dress in red and grey at the beginning of the year and never got around to wear it until now. Not that I didn't like it but I had nowhere to wear it to (Or just forgot). I am planning to put this dress on repeat for the upcoming cold months paired with long coats.

There Is Always A Next Time.

Hello,

I was very hesitant about posting these pictures because I felt like I didn't do justice to this bomb skirt and boringly wore it with a plain top. I like the headshots of this look but not the full pictures. But what the heck, I will do better next time I style it. If you are reading this post, how can I improve this look next time? I am thinking of pairing it with a chunky sweater, some high boots, and a winter coat or blazer if the weather allows. What do you think?

Dressed in a Hurry.

Hello,

I have never been one to plan my outfit the night before and that applies to other areas in my life too. I rarely prep for anything because procrastination is pretty much my first name. I am saying all this because I put this outfit together in less than 2 mins. I am always late, so I always feel like my outfits are rushed or I could have worn a different top or shoes. Like this look, I should have paired the outfit with a different bag. What do you think guys?

I always wonder. DO PEOPLE STILL READ BLOGS? I used to read most of the posts on my timeline when I had time. Now, not so much. What's your take on this one?

IG Material or Nuh

Hello,

How many pictures can you post without flooding the blog timeline? Coz I think I just did!
Wore this dress to lunch a few weeks ago and boy, the heat was excruciating as evidenced by my facial skin. I had this crazy heat rash out of nowhere few mins before stepping out. I can finally say that I am ready for cool days and blazer weather. This cute dress is from Forever 21, I have styled it before for an evening outing with pumps and a cute clutch and again dressed it down with some cute mules for this look.

While doing my daily run on Dailymail, I found this article on "how to make a mint as a fashion influencer". It talks about being a micro-influencer with just 10K followers. I love taking pictures, I love Instagram, I am always on Instagram, and I have almost 10k followers. The money question is: Why not doing it for a paycheck?
Any tips on how to break out in this large industry?
