As the holidays carry on a.k.a shopping season,I treated myself to these great ankle boots that I had been eyeing for months and luckily,they were on sale(not to say half price)when I got them.
The exchange of gifts is central to the X-mas and holiday season,I am so thankful to have amazing friends who gifted me my favorite thing in the world:"Shoes". I received these leopard printed pumps from a friends as a birthday gift and these Ivanka Trump heels as a X-mas gift from another friend.
I have to add that these leopard printed shoes are my very first printed shoes as I have never been one to wear colors on my feet.LOL

I absolutely love this dress bought seasons ago from Boohoo.The color screams holidays and it fits like a glove even though I hate the fact that I have to watch what I eat when I am wearing this dress.If you see what I mean!!(Because food babies are so 2014!).
 It was also nice having a photographer friend in town who kindly shot these pictures.

When I took these pictures,it had been raining relentlessly that I had to think twice before getting out of the car for pictures. As determined as I was,I wasn't going to waste such a comfortable and chic look. Denim on denim is the easiest look one can wear. Dressed up with pumps and a great coat or low-key as I did,double denim will never go out of style.

Hello,

A friend of mine told me once that when she is putting together an outfit she starts by picking the shoes of the day. Which I thought was pretty odd. When I am getting dressed,I start by choosing the bottom wear depending on my mood. I have never been one to dress for the occasion or for the weather. And then I add item by item. I play around with different tops and shoes making sure that I put everything I take off back in the right place so I won't have  to go back to cleaning up a messy closet. That's how I came up with this look which I thought was a little dull before I add the long cardigan.
What do you think of this look?
