I recently dyed my hair dark black and really like the result. Not sure how it happened over night,but my hair gained volume and does look and feel healthy! Guys,the shrinkage is real! The minute I stepped outside,my big afro turned into this medium fro thing. But no matter what,I still like it!
I am also loving these glasses! They make me look older tho. Let me know what you think.

This Summer,I switched things around and added more colors to my wardrobe. Colors are so playful and so cheerful. I remember last Summer,all-black-everything was the new thing in my wardrobe. Not so much this time around.
This pretty blouse is a new addition to my Summer tops,purchased from Tj Maxx. I have to admit that I am now so obsessed with Tj Maxx. Although I have never been in a Tj Maxx store,I thoroughly am very familiar with their online shopping. It kinda feels like going to a big and fancy thrift store. But online with new clothes. They have pretty much anything you can think of. Clothing related at least. Strongly suggest that you check it out.

I can't believe that I have had these shoes for over 2 years and never wore them before now. Maybe because they are just not my favorites. And you won't believe me when I say that it took me a week to finish this post that I had been working on. I meant to write about personal shoe style but I figured it will take me until Christmas to actually finish it. So,keeping it short and sweet for you in this post.

Last year around X-mas time,me and a friend went for a midnight shopping trip. We decided to go catch all the sales that were going on around that time. I really wasn't looking for anything specific,I just went for some retail therapy. I left with a cart full of items and one of them was this Vera Wang jewel tunic dress.
I recently wore it and paired it with a pair of jeans as it was short for my long legs. Very unusual shades of color to pair together but I actually like how they look together.

4th Of July Weekend.

Last night I was reflecting to an amazing weekend I had spent with friends,the past 6 months and life in general. I asked myself where time went and what I have done in the past 6 months. It's very important to take a mental note of what's happened in the past and take that into account to be better prepared for the future. Sometimes we don't take into account the things that happen in a day. Even the smallest things. We just go through life and never take time to think about past situations and experiences. When there aren't any drastic changes in our lives,it's so easy to take for granted the smallest things in our lives. I've came to realize that,those smallest things are the ones that make a huge impact on our lives.
All this to say,enjoy every single moment of the day,take a minute or two to reflect on life and never take anything for granted.
