Lately into blazers and second-hand stores are my go-to for affordable ones. H&M and Macy's are other stores with great prices. As you can see, I am still catching up on Feb's posts. I promise to do better in the next weeks, after all, I only work three days/week.

Not a Personal Shopper.
Hello,
Recently, a friend asked me to help her buy Summer dresses. Not to brag, but I consider myself a pretty great shopper. I can smell sales from miles as I know most of the cheapest stores around. As I embarked on the journey of finding great deals for my friend, I realized how hard it is to shop for someone else. She rejected every single dress I recommended. Too short, too long, too flashy, too oldish, too sexy, too revealing, not so me,.. the list goes on. Then, I became aware of how bad I suck at being a personal shopper for someone else. But one thing I can do is put an outfit together. Get me in your closet, I will put outfits together for you.

Hello,
One of my all-time fave bloggers is Karla Deras of "Karla's Closet". She no longer blogs because she is a boss babe now who designs her own line but her blog is still a germ, a source of inspo. This babe never followed any trends yet wore the coolest outfits ever. I can say that she truly inspired me to express my love for fashion and start a fashion blog. Not just her looks, I liked how she wrote her blog posts. Short and sweet. You can say that I copied her because I like short blog posts that go straight to the point. Can we take a moment and talk about how black models are taking over magazines and runways! As I was going over Feb's issue of Vogue magazine, it hit me how many black models are blessing us with their glowy skin and afro hair. From Chanel to Tommy Hilfiger to Andrew GN, and so many more! Finally, the fashion industry is catching up on diversity.
