Skirts Over Pants.

Hello,

 Skirts over pants or more like doing a Yasmin Sewell number! Pretty interesting and lets call it as it is:Risk-taking! It might be the most cutting edge trend but can one pull it off or wear it in the street without looking like they just missed the fashion week? I remember back then when my mum made me wear pants under skirts because she would say that I was young to be almost barelegged. I would cry and refuse to leave the house because I thought I looked hideous. The SOP trend for sure is acceptable on 5"10 girls fresh off the runway. And we have to agree that runway looks are way far from the reality and street styles. But again why not add a little drama to this boring Winter wardrobe and try the trend? Take advantage of the cold days and step up your layering game.

Truthfully,long coats are ruling this season (Duh!) and I seriously can't get enough of them and how they turn a very casual look into a statement outfit. While you have already seen this one from my previous posts,this time around I managed to style it differently with another key piece: A turtleneck.
As we were getting ready to run errands,my roommate asked me if one was allowed to put on repeat one coat over and over again! I said YEAH! Because no one has a hundred  coats in their closet for every blog post. Unless you are Karen from Where Did You Get That.
In addition,today's look was inspired by a look Rihanna wore way back that I tried to recreate in order to celebrate her birthday (02/20). Not only I enjoy her music but also her very retro,glam rock style.

Hello,

A few years ago,my mum was kind enough to send me this velvet coat that I had left home when I moved here in the states for school. She thought that I would need a nice coat for cold days. Thanks mum!
In this post,I tried to switch things around and wore some colors and a skirt. I have to be honest with you,this outfit wasn't warm enough for single digits temperatures we are facing in my area. And sadly,this H&M chunky sweater I had layered in couldn't protect me from the cold. This cold is just getting so unbearable!

Happy fashionable Friday!
Weekends bring a lot of excitement to me even when I have to spend them at work. Nonetheless,I try to get the most out of them. Sleeping in,skin care session,movie marathons,mani&pedi,girls time,wine,a lot of wine,Rihanna music,dancing,online shopping,skype dates,snacks,a nice book,snacks again,...That's a satisfying weekend to me. What's your ideal weekend?
I am planning on staying indoors this weekend for a much needed relaxed weekend.

Hello,

Remember when I got these pumps for my birthday back in November?Yeah,it took me months to finally wear them.Not only they are my first 5 inches heels,but also my favorite pair of shoes!
I always thought that my ideal heel height was 4 inches but I have to say that 5 inches feel much more sexier. Get ready for some sassy actions with my heels featuring my wardrobe!
